MfG is the abbreviation for "Yours sincerely", a German dictum or a saw which is used nearly every time you want to speak "Mit freundlichen Grüßen" which is mostly only written.
The saw became very popular with the song "MfG" from the German Rap Band "Die fantastischen Vier" which have enumerated many, many German abbreviations in this song. I think "mfg" is more cool than the long version.
